Since the U.S. ended its pandemic control border policy known as Title 42 earlier this month, a predicted crush of migrants attempting to cross from Mexico never materialized.
But Mexican border towns are seeing greater numbers of new arrivals, now choosing to wait on the Mexican side as they apply for U.S. asylum.
And as CGTN's Alasdair Baverstock reports, those towns are feeling the strain.
