Agreed to terms to trade Kaiir Elam to Cowboys
The details: The Bills have agreed to terms with the Cowboys to trade CB Kaiir Elam and a 2025 sixth-round draft pick to Dallas in exchange for a 2025 fifth-round and 2026 seventh-round pick.
Agreed to terms on a one-year contract extension with S Damar Hamlin
The details: Hamlin was one of Buffalo's full-time starters at safety, starting 14 games in 2024. He was scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent. Hamlin earned a starting role on Buffalo's defense this year and proved to be an impact player. He finished third on the team in total tackles (89) and tied for the team lead in interceptions (2).View more.

Bills re-sign RB Ty Johnson to two-year deal, agree to terms with FB Reggie Gilliam on one-year deal
The details: Johnson's play in 2024 garnered consistent praise from QB Josh Allen who called his teammate "the best third-down back" in the league. Johnson had five games (including playoffs) with at least 30 yards receiving, including 114 yards on five catches against the Lions in a 48-42 win.
In the AFC Wild Card game against the Broncos, Johnson made an incredible 25-yard TD catch in the end zone on fourth down to put Buffalo up two scores in the second half.View more.

Bills LB Terrel Bernard signs four-year contract extension
The details: One of Buffalo's most influential voices in the locker room isn't going anywhere. Linebacker Terrell Bernard has agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension which keeps him in Buffalo through 2029.
The middle linebacker was selected by his teammates as one of Buffalo's two captains for the 2024 season. Bernard finished his third NFL season with 104 tackles, two interceptions, five tackles for loss, three quarterback hits, one sack and three passes defensed.View more.

Bills & QB Josh Allen agree to terms on new deal through 2030
The details: Allen was named the AP NFL Most Valuable Player in 2024 after recording 4,269 total yards, 41 total touchdowns and the fewest turnovers of his career (8). Among his many NFL records set this season, Allen became the first player in NFL history with 5 straight 40+ total TD seasons. His new deal keeps him in Buffalo through 2030.View more.

Bills DE Greg Rousseau signs four-year contract extension
The details: One of Buffalo's anchors on the defensive line is here to stay. Defensive end Greg Rousseau signed a four-year contract extension that keeps him in Buffalo through the 2029 season.
The extension comes just over a month after Rousseau finished one of his most productive seasons. Rousseau led Buffalo's pass rushers with 8.0 sacks last year, which tied a career high set in 2022. The defensive end had career highs in several statistical categories in 2024 24 quarterback hits, 16 tackles for loss, 36 solo tackles and three forced fumbles.View more.

Bills re-sign Reid Ferguson to a four-year contract
The details: Buffalo's longest-tenured player has signed a contract to remain in Buffalo for four more years. Long-snapper Reid Ferguson will remain in Buffalo for years to come with this new contract. He was set to become a free agent on Wednesday. Ferguson, 30, has been with the team since 2016 when was signed as a rookie free agent out of LSU.

Bills WR Khalil Shakir signs four-year contract extension
The details: Coming off a career-high season, Buffalo Bills WR Khalil Shakir has agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension that runs through 2029. Shakir led the Bills in targets (100), receptions (76) and receiving yards (821) in 2024, all career-highs for the 2022 5th round selection. He also posted a career-high four touchdown receptions.
Shakir proved himself to be one of the most reliable receivers in the NFL, dropping just one pass and ranking third among all pass catchers with 597 yards after catch.View more.

Bills re-sign OL Alec Anderson to one-year deal
The details: Anderson was a part of an offensive line group that allowed the league's lowest sack number (14) during the 2024 season. The third-year offensive lineman proved to be a big asset as he was the most used sixth offensive lineman in the league last year. Anderson played in all 17 regular season games, which amounted to 27% of the team's offensive snaps. The OL also made four starts during the 2024 season.View more.
